Oasis’ Replacement for Bonehead on Reunion Tour Revealed

The sources close to Oasis revealed that Mike Moore from Liam Gallagher’s solo band will replace Bonehead for the band’s upcoming shows in Asia and Australia. According to The Mirror, Bonehead is currently taking a break to receive treatment for prostate cancer.

A source close to the band explained the temporary nature of the arrangement. “It’s not a full time slot in the band and everyone wants Bonehead well and back but it’s a huge privilege for Mike and he’s excited to get on the stage,” the source said. Moore’s role in the upcoming performances reflects this temporary position.

The announcement comes as part of the band’s highly anticipated 2025 reunion tour. This represents a major comeback for the legendary British rock band after years of separation, as noted by Oasis Official.

The tour has already generated considerable success in other regions. The Independent reported that the band expanded their tour dates to include North America. New shows were added in Toronto, Los Angeles, East Rutherford, and Mexico City, with Cage The Elephant serving as the support act. The UK and Ireland leg kicked off in Cardiff on July 4 and includes multiple sold-out shows across major cities including Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs is a founding member and guitarist who has been crucial to Oasis’ sound since the band’s inception. 97 Rock noted that Mike Moore’s appointment as his replacement for the Asia and Australia leg ensures the tour proceeds smoothly in these regions. This allows Bonehead to focus on his health recovery.

This is a temporary position while Bonehead focuses on his health. The band and fans alike are hoping for his full recovery and eventual return to the stage.
