Edinburgh indie-rock trio Vistas make their long anticipated stop in Sheffield tomorrow evening as part of their ‘Cut the Cord’ tour, promising an electric night at Foundry in the Students’ Union.
This tour follows the release of Vistas’ highly anticipated album ‘Cut The Chord’ which was released in August this year. On tour the band have visited key UK cities, and Sheffield represents a crucial date in this run.
Formed in 2016, Vistas—consisting of Prentice Robertson (vocals), Dylan Rush (guitar) and Jamie Law (bass)—have built a reputation for crafting soaring choruses, guitar hooks and anthemic indie-pop rock.
Their debut album ‘Everything Changes in the End’, released in 2020, lifted them into the spotlight, and subsequent releases have only deepened their catalogue of fan favourites.
Those who’ve caught Vistas live before will recall a tightly constructed show that leans toward sincerity over spectacle.
This isn’t the band’s first trip to Sheffield, they performed in the late Leadmill in November 2023, but with that being nearly two years ago, the headline spot tomorrow is eagerly awaited by Steel City locals.
Expect a balanced set: deep cuts for long-time fans alongside newer tracks from their current campaign. Setlist FM suggests the band will play fan favourites like ‘Dayglow’, ‘Retrospect’, and ‘Stranger’, as well as the latest releases like ‘Cut The Chord’, ‘Reason’ and ‘The Middle’.
If you’re heading down, arrive early, soak up the vibe, and prepare for a night where hooks meet emotion and the crowd becomes part of the pulse. Sheffield, get ready — Vistas are coming to connect.
This isn’t Vistas final date on the tour, after Sheffield the band are set to play Nottingham’s Rescue Room on 09/10, Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach 10/10, Birmingham’s O2 Institute 11/10, Bristol’s Fleece 13/10, Newcastle’s Boiler Shop 15/10, finally wrapping up their last day in their hometown of Glasgow on 13/11 at Galvanizers.
