by Slipknot’s Sid Wilson has officially announced the launch of his new record label, Vomit Face Records, in partnership with rapper J57, as shared on Instagram.
Wilson revealed details about the label’s first project and upcoming release.
“Proud to officially announce my new record label with J57 (rapper), Vomit Face Records,” Wilson said.
He then announced the first project of his new record label.
“Lil Bushwick x Sid Wilson album drops Halloween! 1st single featuring the legend Bushwick Bill ‘Take It Back’ (prod. Dj LeTHaL) drops Friday, October 17!” he continued.
The first single is set to release today. The full collaborative album is scheduled for Halloween.
Sid Wilson recently got engaged to Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, at Black Sabbath’s farewell show, Back to the Beginning. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were present for the special moment. Sid and Kelly share a son together.
Sid joined Slipknot in 1998, contributing scratching, sound effects, and background textures that help define the band’s aggressive, layered sound. Outside of Slipknot, he performs under the alias DJ Starscream (a name inspired by a Transformers character), and has pursued solo and electronic jungle music projects.
