In her response, Saraya clarified her reasons for attending the meeting and distanced herself from past controversies.
“None of that has anything to do with me. That isn’t any of my business, that was after my time,” she said. “We went because Tyler LOVES Mötley Crüe. He has a whole leg sleeve of Crüe and if we got offered to go, we were gonna do it.”
Saraya emphasized the positive experience of the evening, particularly for her friend Tyler.
“It was fucking MAGICAL to watch one of my best friends experience his childhood idols. 10/10 night,” she continued.
The controversy Saraya referenced stems from a complex catfishing scandal that rocked the marriage of Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan earlier this year.
Fox News reported that Brittany Furlan was catfished by someone impersonating Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke on Snapchat. Furlan engaged in conversations with this impersonator and even went to Radke’s house in person during the confusion. She did not realize the Snapchat account was fake. She admitted to the interaction publicly on social media and in her podcast. She explained she was in a vulnerable state during a difficult period in her marriage.
Loudwire noted that Tommy Lee confronted Radke privately after discovering the messages. Radke then exposed the catfishing situation on Instagram. He called the FBI to investigate multiple impersonation attempts targeting women. The drama contributed to public rumors that Furlan and Lee had been living separately amid marital troubles.
Despite the turmoil, Furlan emphasized that their marriage involved forgiveness and love despite the difficulties they faced. The couple eventually reconciled and moved past the incident. This makes Saraya’s recent meeting with them less controversial from a timeline perspective, as she noted the events occurred “after my time.”
