Ronnie Radke Slams Gen Z, Calls Them the ‘Dumbest Generation’

Ronnie Radke, frontman of Falling in Reverse, recently lashed out at Gen Z critics in a heated video response shared on Instagram.

The outburst came after a critic mistakenly confused Radke with someone else in a video, commenting on his appearance and fashion choices.

A critic wrote about Ronnie Radke, “Ronnie, is that you in the video? Because you might want to reconsider some straight leg jeans, you are the least rock n’ roll looking person I’ve ever seen in my life. You look like a potato walking around on toothpicks.”

Radke’s response was characteristically fierce and unfiltered.

“This deserves my response. Excuse me? All you had to do was click on my profile. You can see it wasn’t me! I’m sick of you idiots, man,” Radke said. “Let me guess, man, you got all your pronouns, and you collect them like Pokémon, you look stupid. You’re ugly as sh*t. Your cholesterol is through the roof, and you’re pre-diabetic.”

He continued his tirade by criticizing the younger generation’s research abilities.

“All you had to do was click on my profile and you’d see it’s not me, man. What’s wrong with these people? You’re the dumbest generation,” he said. “The generation after me is the most retarded f*cking idiots. And you think you have the internet and Google and all these things at your disposal, right? And yet, here you are.”

This latest incident is part of a pattern of controversial behavior that has defined Radke’s public persona in 2025.

Consequence reported that Radke lost a defamation lawsuit against music critic Anthony Fantano in May 2025. Radke had accused Fantano of racism. The court ruled that Fantano was protected under free speech, dismissing Radke’s case and awarding Fantano attorney’s fees.

The singer has also faced backlash over tour cancellations this year. Numetal Agenda noted that Falling in Reverse’s 2025 “God as a Weapon” tour faced rumors of cancellation due to low ticket sales, particularly an Austin, Texas show. Radke vehemently denied these allegations and criticized reports claiming poor ticket sales.

Radke’s contentious relationship with younger audiences has been escalating in recent years. Campus Times highlighted that he has faced additional backlash for complaining about cancel culture and making transphobic comments on TikTok. This stoked further anger among Gen Z audiences online.

The frontman is known for his confrontational responses to online critics and frequently engages in social media disputes. His controversial public persona has involved numerous feuds with bands, critics, and fans throughout his career. These controversies often feed into both his lyrical content and public image.
