Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘Back to the Beginning’ Farewell Show May Hit the U.S. as a Yearly Tribute

Ozzy Osbourne’s final show, ‘Back To The Beginning,’ may be heading to the United States as an annual memorial event. The Mirror reported this development.

An application has been submitted to trademark the event in the U.S., categorized under “entertainment services in the nature of live musical performance.” The legal firm Monowise Ltd made the filing. The firm also aims to secure rights for related merchandise. Similar trademark filings are anticipated in the UK.

The trademark filings suggest that the “Back to the Beginning” brand could be developed into a recurring tribute event. This would continue Ozzy’s legacy beyond the original farewell concert.

The original “Back to the Beginning” concert took place on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Wikipedia documented this information. The historic event featured the original lineup of Black Sabbath performing live together for the last time. It marked Ozzy Osbourne’s final stage performance.

The farewell show proved to be both emotionally significant and financially successful. Cure Parkinson’s revealed that the concert raised approximately £140 million. Proceeds benefited charities including Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Tragically, Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, just weeks after his final performance. Ultimate Classic Rock confirmed this news. His death was due to complications from Parkinson’s disease, a condition he had been battling for years.

The potential transformation of “Back to the Beginning” into an annual event would serve as a lasting memorial to the Prince of Darkness. It would allow fans to celebrate his legacy and contributions to rock music for years to come.
