The crowd were packed in eagerly awaiting the arrival of this artists who is ever growing bigger and making their mark on the industry.
As Nxdia entered the stage dressed with an air of coolness and swagger, they appeared more than ready to give this Manchester crowd a big night and kick off the tour in style.
Throughout the evening the tension energy increased with seductive hits like ‘Jennifer’s Body’ which the crowd knew all too well. As Nxdia sung this one, their vocal talent absolutely shined through provoking a feeling of relaxation in the crowd as we felt we could sit back and let them entertain.
One amazing moment arrived when Nxdia used their platform on this satage to promote their pro-Palestine views which felt very important in the current climate and as a fan I feel so grateful she spoke around this.
Another moment which was so unique and amazing was during a crowd interaction during the song ‘Boys Clothes’ where Nxdia convince the adoring crowd to part while two people walked up and down fiercely cat-walk style. To see everyone cheering these two fans on was amazing to experience and it felt like the safest and most accepting room in the world at that point.
Nxdia’s set finished on ‘Feel Anything’ arguably their most popular song, which went viral on social media last year. Such a versatile track with these different elements, starting slow and then a complete tempo change as an electric guitar kicks off rumbles and the pace, alongside the tension increases as Nxdia sings “D-d-d-don’t stop, get a drink / Throw up in the kitchen sink / I don’t wanna feel / I don’t wanna feel anything”.
A phenomenal end to the show and great start to the tour.
