Paul Gallagher faces charges that include a range of serious offenses. These allegedly occurred over a two-year period.
“Paul Gallagher pleaded not guilty to coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three of intentional strangulation, two of making a threat to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm,” BBC reported.
He is charged with offenses that allegedly happened between 2022 and 2024. The case will proceed through the court system as Paul Gallagher maintains his innocence on all charges.
The court proceedings took place amid renewed public attention on the Gallagher family. This follows Oasis’s highly anticipated reunion tour announcement.
Sky News reported that Paul Gallagher, 59, entered his pleas at Harrow Crown Court sitting at Southwark Crown Court. He wore a dark suit and thick-rimmed glasses. He was released on conditional bail and will face trial on 13 September 2027.
Paul Gallagher is a year older than Noel and six years older than Liam. He has never been involved with Oasis. The Independent noted that he was reportedly dropped from performing a DJ set at an afterparty for Oasis’s reunion tour in Dublin last year.
The timing of these charges comes as his famous brothers have been making headlines with their reunion. The Independent stated that the Oasis reunion tour, named “Oasis Live ’25,” began in July at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. It is scheduled to conclude in Brazil in November.
The legal proceedings will continue over the coming years. Paul Gallagher maintains his innocence on all charges as the case moves toward trial in 2027.
