\u201cI guess they always just thought I was the guy who helped feed the chickens or told bad jokes at the dinner table,\u201d Owen laughed. \u201cIt never really clicked with them that I was part of something\u2026 bigger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That moment opened the door for Randy to sit down with his grandchildren and talk about his journey \u2014 from a small farm in Fort Payne, Alabama, to sold-out arenas, Grammy Awards, and Country Music Hall of Fame honors. But more than the accolades, he says what mattered most was showing them how far love, faith, and hard work can take someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
