Rita Ora is planning a new album and tour in 2026.<\/p>\n
The Anywhere hitmaker has explained that she wants to release and tour her fourth studio record next year after concentrating on other elements of her career – such as her acting work – in recent times.<\/p>\n
Speaking to a Melbourne radio station, Rita said: “There’s definitely an album coming.<\/p>\n
“I’m really focused on this record and I’m coming out to tour – I haven’t toured an album since 2018.<\/p>\n
“My career has been so interesting. I’ve done film, TV, so kind of outwards. In the new year, I’m going inwards – to clean up shop and lead with intention.”<\/p>\n
The Heat singer explained that she plans to tour in both Australia and New Zealand as the region has become her “second home” since she married Kiwi filmmaker Taika Waititi in 2022.<\/p>\n
Rita said: “I’m 100 per cent going to tour Australia, then to New Zealand and then back again – it’s like my second home.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old singer revealed last month that she is planning to release a fly-on-the-wall documentary and has eight years worth of footage to work with.<\/p>\n
Rita told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I\u2019ve been filming myself for the past eight years and one day I\u2019m going to have to use that footage.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019ve had dressing rooms flooding, my outfit not arriving in time. Sometimes I\u2019ve not had a make-up artist and I\u2019ve had to hide under my sunglasses.”<\/p>\n
Ora also revealed that her husband directed the music video for her latest single All Natural and was amused by the way he encouraged the camera crew to get some raunchy close-up shots of her while she danced in her underwear in the promo.<\/p>\n
She said: “It is so funny. I was filming, and obviously the cameraman has to do 360-degree angles.<\/p>\n
“He is one of Taika\u2019s best friends \u2014 he works with the same crew all the time.<\/p>\n
“He\u2019s got this camera on and he\u2019s shooting, and Taika was going, ‘Shoot the bum, shoot the bum’.<\/p>\n
“The cameraman was going, ‘I don\u2019t feel comfortable, I don\u2019t know’. Taika was like, ‘You can shoot, you are fine! Get in there!’.<\/p>\n
“He was going, ‘Erm, OK, I guess so’. It was so funny.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
