Melanie Chisholm has signed a new deal with Virgin Music Group.<\/p>\n
The 51-year-old Spice Girls star and her independent record label Red Girl Records have partnered with Virgin ahead of the release of her new single Sweat.<\/p>\n
She said in a statement: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be releasing my new music with Virgin Music Group. It feels like a homecoming after the successes we shared working together with Spice Girls and my first two solo albums. They are paving the way for more artist-led deals and have an incredibly strong international team. I\u2019m really excited to see what we can achieve together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melanie will release her ninth studio album, also titled Sweat, in 2026.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that the Spice Girls are set to reunite for a new animated project on the band.<\/p>\n
Titled The Spice Girls, it will mark the group\u2019s first full professional collaboration since their performance at the 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.<\/p>\n
According to the official IMDb listing, The Spice Girls is currently in pre-production and will feature all five original members including Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie C and Emma Bunton as voice actors.<\/p>\n
The description reads: \u201cAn animated project featuring the music group The Spice Girls as super heroes.\u201d<\/p>\n
