Stanley\u2019s comments came in response to widespread concern from fans about Simmons\u2019 condition following the recent accident.<\/p>\n
When asked \u201cHow\u2019s Gene doing? Everyone wants to know,\u201d Stanley addressed the severity of the situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a miracle Gene didn\u2019t get hurt,\u201d Stanley said. \u201cHe could\u2019ve gotten killed. It was scary for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on to reassure fans about Simmons\u2019 current condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut he\u2019s great,\u201d he continued. \u201cHe\u2019s at 100%. All good. He\u2019s in great spirits. We got blessed lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stanley\u2019s relief is understandable given the circumstances of the accident that occurred on October 7, 2025.<\/p>\n
ABC7 reported that the 76-year-old bassist was driving his SUV on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, when his vehicle veered across several lanes and collided with a parked car. Simmons told authorities he fainted just before the crash. His wife Shannon Tweed attributed the incident to a recent change in his medications combined with dehydration.<\/p>\n
The KISS legend was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation but was released shortly after. Following the incident, Simmons took to social media to reassure his fans about his condition, as Parade noted.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m completely fine,\u201d Simmons said, calling it a \u201cslight fender bender\u201d and adding humorously that it happens especially to \u201chorrible drivers\u201d like himself.<\/p>\n
