When asked if he had seen Axl Rose perform with original bassist Duff McKagan and Slash since they reunited in 2015, Sorum said: \u201cNo, I haven\u2019t got the invite. \u2018Hey, come watch the band.\u2019 I\u2019m, like, \u2018Eh, I don\u2019t think so.’\u201d<\/p>\n

He then elaborated on why he declined their invitation to perform.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey invited me to come play [with them as a guest], and I declined,\u201d he explained. \u201cI didn\u2019t think it made sense to go play \u2014 what? \u2014 two songs and then do what? I mean, I play music. I play with musicians.\u201d<\/p>\n
