\u201cI\u2019m just excited for people to hear the new album \u2018Para Bellum,’\u201d Billy said. \u201cIt\u2019s one of them things where you\u2019re always trying to outdo yourself every record, and somehow we did it again.\u201d<\/p>\n
The vocalist humorously acknowledged the band\u2019s consistent quality while wondering about their future output.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the downside is, when are we going to write a shitty record?\u201d he continued. \u201cWe\u2019re due to write a shitty record. It\u2019s coming up. So, um but this one isn\u2019t it yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
Billy emphasized how the new album maintains a fresh sound despite the band\u2019s lengthy career.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, I\u2019m just happy and looking forward to the fans to listen to it, check out because to me, this record sounds current,\u201d he said. \u201cIt sounds modern. It doesn\u2019t sound like a band that\u2019s been 40 years around rehashing the same riffs, going through the same motion, taking the easy route out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re still being challenged. We\u2019re still getting creative after 40 years of making music, which is awesome,\u201d Billy said. \u201cIf we didn\u2019t tour anymore, I would just be happy creating this new music.\u201d<\/p>\n
