\u201cThere\u2019s a certain time when everyone comes into Priest\u2019s catalog \u2014 it might be \u2018Painkiller\u2019, it might be \u2018Stained Class\u2019 or it might be \u2018Killing Machine\u2019 \u2014 but there\u2019s a younger audience out there now as well,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo I think they\u2019re important right across the board. Our last album was as important as other ones for those people that are seeing Priest for the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd there\u2019s always that creative itch that we have to do better, as I said before \u2014 a better record, better production, better songwriting, better solo, better performance, whatever it is,\u201d he explained. \u201cI think we\u2019re all driven in Priest to do that. So it\u2019s just a natural thing. Whether it\u2019s important or not to everyone, I don\u2019t know \u2014 some people might see that differently \u2014 but I think it\u2019s important for us in Priest as creatives to nurture that and get that creative stuff out, if you know what I mean.\u201d<\/p>\n
