\u201cI\u2019d say all of it really. It is a little nostalgia for sure. Those records are now 20 to 30 years old, so that\u2019s definitely nostalgia,\u201d Bush said. \u201cThey don\u2019t play the material and pretty much the only song they really have played since I\u2019ve left is \u2018Only.\u2019 So it\u2019s really a way to honor those records and say, you know, if I don\u2019t do it I mean they\u2019re really going to just become like almost extinct you know if you will.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bush expressed pride in his work with the band while acknowledging the diplomatic complexities involved.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a part of my career that I\u2019m really proud of. And I think they are too. You know, I just think that there\u2019s some diplomatic circumstances where you can\u2019t like, they want to keep peace and I don\u2019t think Joe is too keen on playing some of these tunes and and I get it,\u201d he continued. \u201cI really do. Like they\u2019ve made a lot of old records and they have made a lot of new records and I think they have a new record coming out next year of new material. So, you know, they have enough material where maybe they don\u2019t want to go there or maybe he doesn\u2019t want to go there, whatever it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the reality is we made these records and they\u2019re there and if I don\u2019t acknowledge them, then like I said, they\u2019re going to just kind of fade away,\u201d Bush said. \u201cI\u2019m proud of them and I want to play these tunes \u2018cuz I\u2019ve been singing them lately and there\u2019s some really great songs.\u201d<\/p>\n
