Oasis have officially launched a new project, in partnership with Circa Art, in order to \u201cput music back into UK State Schools.\u201d<\/p>\n
The project, titled \u2018Project Rock N\u2019 Roll Stars\u2019, will sell prints of original handwritten lyrics by Oasis, in celebration of their \u2018Live \u201925\u2019 reunion dates. Fine art lyric sheets are available for some of their iconic tracks, including \u2018Wonderwall\u2019, \u2018Don\u2019t Look Back In Anger\u2019, \u2018Stand By Me\u2019, \u2018Champagne Supernova\u2019, and \u2018Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roll Star\u2019.<\/p>\n
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will use the project to give state schools across the country the opportunity to apply to receive instruments that they are able to share amongst their community.<\/p>\n
With the prints, 100 per cent of Oasis royalties, which totals 50 per cent of proceeds, will be committed to helping to put music back into UK state schools. They will be available for a limited time until November 25th.<\/p>\n
Oasis have made a tremendous return to the music world this year. They recently wrapped up the North American leg of their shows, which saw them play at stadiums across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Before the year is done, Oasis still have even more memorable dates in their diary in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.<\/p>\n
Last month, during an interview on TalkSPORT, Noel said of their iconic comeback tour so far, \u201cI\u2019m completely blown away. It\u2019s difficult to put it into words, actually. It\u2019s kind of like every night is the crowd\u2019s first night, do you know what I mean? So every night\u2019s got that kind of same energy. It\u2019s been truly amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The band recently released an unplugged version of the track \u2018Morning Glory\u2019. The new cut is one of five unplugged tracks that are set to appear on (What\u2019s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), which will also contain unplugged versions of \u2018Cast No Shadow\u2019, \u2018Champagne Supernova\u2019, \u2018Wonderwall\u2019, and \u2018Acquiesce\u2019, which was released in July.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
