What a bad ass and thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration marks an unexpected crossover between the heavy metal band and the country music icon. Parton put her own spin on the M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce classic.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration comes at a significant milestone for the song. It celebrates four decades since its original release.<\/p>\n<p>American Songwriter reported that this new version of \u201cHome Sweet Home\u201d celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original 1985 hit. The song was first released on M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce\u2019s album Theatre of Pain. The song has become one of the band\u2019s most enduring tracks and has been covered by various artists over the years.<\/p>\n<p>The band itself has expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Parton. Ultimate Classic Rock revealed that M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce released a statement praising Dolly, calling her participation \u201ca career high that means a lot to us.\u201d The band expressed excitement to share the special anniversary version with fans worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond celebrating the song\u2019s legacy, the collaboration serves a charitable purpose.
