\u201cHe did. He\u2019s a warrior,\u201d Brittany Furlan Lee responded. \u201cKept it under wraps forever\u2026 And people were giving him shit when he was still performing while trying to heal. He\u2019s doing great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furlan Lee\u2019s defense of Neil comes after the vocalist\u2019s remarkable recovery from a severe health crisis that threatened his career. The stroke occurred during what should have been a celebratory period for the legendary rock band.<\/p>\n

Fox News\u00a0reported that Neil suffered a severe stroke last Christmas that left his entire left side paralyzed. The medical emergency forced him to relearn basic motor functions, including walking, as he faced an uncertain future regarding his ability to perform.<\/p>\n

Despite the grim prognosis from medical professionals, Neil remained determined to return to the stage. \u201cDoctors said they didn\u2019t think I\u2019d be able to go back on stage again. I go, \u2018No, no, I\u2019m gonna do it. Watch and see,’\u201d he shared, demonstrating the resilience that Furlan Lee described as warrior-like.<\/p>\n

The stroke\u2019s impact extended beyond Neil\u2019s personal health.
