Some Nashvillians attending a Christmas event at their local church were surprised by the sweet sound of Carrie Underwood\u2019s voice.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Carrie Underwood has always been outspoken about her religion. Being a Christian is part of who Underwood is, and her church is actually the first place she ever sang in front of other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Underwood is considered a country singer, she leaned into her faith a few years ago and released a Christmas album, My Gift<\/em>, in 2020 and a hymns-only album, My Savior, <\/em>two years later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Savior<\/em> earned her a Best Roots Gospel Album Grammy in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In August 2024, Carrie Underwood surprised her church by helping lead worship.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee was treated to a Carrie Underwood concert of sorts this summer when the \u201cGood Girl\u201d singer went on stage to perform \u201cGoodness of God\u201d with the church band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She wasn\u2019t announced as a performer, so she completely surprised everyone in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underwood did this once again for the church\u2019s annual Christmas show, Sounds of Christmas, which took place on Saturday, December 14.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

She was not announced as a performer, in fact a different American Idol<\/em> singer was, Season 14 runner-up Clark Beckham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For just $5 a ticket, church-goers were able to see two surprise songs from the Grammy Award-winner. She performed \u201cHave Yourself A Merry Little Christmas\u201d and \u201cO Holy Night,\u201d both of which appear on My Gift<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since her performance, the church has not even posted about her singing. They have posted about all the other performances that took place, just not hers, and we respect that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wearing a modest green sparkly top and black skirt, Underwood showcased her incredible vocals on \u201cHave Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.\u201d The TikTok video cut off before the applause really began, but we\u2019re sure she got a standing ovation for it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
