After a breakout year in 2024 \u2014 thanks to her explosive debut album \u201cExcuse the Mess,\u201d<\/em> a string of successful collaborations (most notably with Riley Green on \u201cYou Look Like You Love Me\u201d<\/em>), and standout festival appearances \u2014 Langley has clearly become one of country music\u2019s freshest, boldest voices. But for those hoping for a follow-up sooner than later, the Alabama-born singer-songwriter is choosing patience over pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Thoughtful Delay<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to a recent interview and several cryptic Instagram stories, Langley is currently deep in the writing and recording phase, but she emphasized that the process is \u201cmore about getting it right than getting it fast.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
