Blake Shelton and his wife Gwen Stefani surprised patrons as Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Las Vegas over Super Bowl weekend.
Shelton just opened the Vegas spot in January, and it’s now his sixth Ole Red location.
Shelton and Stefani were in town because Stefani was the headliner of the Super Bowl TikTok tailgate.
She invited Shelton onstage during her set so they could perform their new duet, “Purple Irises.”
Shelton and Stefani released “Purple Irises” on Friday, February 9. The romantic new song is the sixth time they’ve released a duet together.
It includes lyrics such as:
“Wonder why you took a risk, on a broken heart you cannot fix. No, I never knew a love like this. Now we’re picking purple irises.”
They previously topped the country charts with songs such as “Nobody but You” and “Happy Anywhere.” The music video for “Nobody but You” also won the CMT Music Award for Collaborative Video of the Year.
