Alex Terrible Asks for Help to Save Slaughter to Prevail Business

Slaughter to Prevail singer Alex Terrible has reached out to fans for support following the collapse of their business building. He shared details about the situation in a statement on Instagram.

The statement addressed the significant challenges the band’s business has faced and their efforts to rebuild from scratch.

“Dear fans, right now we need your support more than ever,” Terrible said. “As you may know, our old building collapsed (we still haven’t been told the official reason), but fortunately, none of us were hurt. We didn’t have insurance, which is very rarely practiced in Russia. Because of this, we suffered very heavy losses.”

The band has been working to reopen their mask-making business in a new location.

“At the moment, we’ve thrown all our energy and resources into reopening our business from scratch in a new building,” he continued. “We’ve purchased everything we need and prepared it for work. We’re really looking forward to your orders and are working on fulfilling past ones, which we will send out very soon. We count on your support and, as always, your patience.”

Terrible emphasized the handmade quality of their products and explained the pricing structure.

“We put our hearts into making every mask of the highest quality. This is all handmade — casting, painting, assembly, and more,” he explained. “Handmade work like this is usually very expensive on the market. But we sell our masks at super low prices, almost at cost. And we are very happy that you continue to buy them. We want to see lots of masks at the Slaughter to Prevail concert!”

However, the band announced they will need to adjust their pricing due to new tax regulations.

“However, we are forced to raise our prices because the U.S. has introduced a tax on importing goods from Russia,” Terrible noted. “Still, we will do everything possible to keep this tax as low as we can (we’re already in talks with accountants and the logistics company). We are really looking forward to your orders, guys! This is not just a mask. This is already a cult!”

The building collapse represents a significant setback for the band’s merchandise operation. The operation has become an integral part of their brand identity and fan engagement.

Alex Terrible’s official website revealed that the mask business has grown into a distinctive entrepreneurial venture that capitalizes on the band’s brutal aesthetic. The operation offers various signature masks including “ONI RED,” “ONI GREEN,” “KID OF DARKNESS (BLOODY),” and “GRIZZLY,” with prices typically ranging from $110 to $180 USD. These handmade masks have become iconic symbols at Slaughter to Prevail concerts, creating a unique visual connection between the band and their fanbase.

The timing of this crisis is particularly challenging. Slaughter to Prevail’s official website indicated the band has major tour dates scheduled across the U.S. in late 2025, including shows in New York, North Carolina, and California. The band is preparing to unveil a revamped live show with more visceral and intense production aimed at heightening the fan experience. Any disruption to their merchandise availability could impact both the visual spectacle of their performances and their revenue stream during this crucial touring period.

Beyond his music career, Alex Terrible has built a multifaceted public profile that extends into extreme sports. Sumerian Records noted he recently engaged in bare-knuckle fighting events in Russia and is preparing for fights in the U.S. This dual career not only builds his public profile but also anchors his entrepreneurial brand in extreme physical and stylistic commitment, supporting the band’s merchandise appeal and overall aesthetic.

The band’s latest album Grizzly has solidified their position as a defining force in modern heavy music. The album compiles several singles such as “Conflict,” “Viking,” “1984,” “Behelit,” and “Kid of Darkness.” The album’s success and the band’s current momentum make the business disruption particularly significant for both the metal community and the band’s future plans. The mask business, which operates with fast processing and international shipping options, has become more than just a merchandise line. It represents a cult following that Terrible and his team have carefully cultivated alongside their musical output.

The band is currently working to fulfill existing orders while establishing their new business location.
